For most of us, getting rid of unwanted body hair is an ongoing battle. Whether you’re a shaver or a waxer, you’re constantly in some phase of upkeep. And even so-called permanent hair loss solutions, such as electrolysis or laser hair removal, often prove ineffective in the long run. So what are you supposed to do, wait around for some kind of futuristic, next-gen piece of hair removal technology to appear on the market?
No. As it turns out, a truly permanent hair loss solution is already here, and it has been for more than 50 years. It’s called the LP System.
The LP hair removal system was originally developed by Lucy Peters in the late 1950s. For years, Peters had reportedly been frustrated by the results she was experiencing with electrolysis. So the enterprising Ms. Peters decided to create her own method of hair removal, and eventually spent more than ten years improving upon traditional electrolysis techniques and creating the world’s first—and to this day only—completely permanent, FDA-approved hair removal system.
Currently, if you want permanent hair removal you have two basic options: laser hair removal or electrolysis. But both of these options are flawed in their own ways. Laser hair removal works best for people with light skin and dark hair, and the technology can be ineffective for anyone who doesn’t naturally possess that magical combination. Electrolysis, on the other hand, is sometimes ineffective because it doesn’t completely destroy the hair follicle.
According to both medical experts and customers, the LP System is superior to both of these options. For one, this system works on all hair and skin types, and it can remove anything from thick, course hair to thin peach fuzz anywhere on the body. Additionally, unlike the rigid tips that traditional electrolysis uses, the LP System uses flexible tips. These flexible tips are able to slip into the hair follicles more easily and better ensure that the follicles are effectively destroyed.
Unfortunately, the LP System can’t permanently remove hair in a single session, and as many as three additional sessions may be needed to make sure that the hair doesn’t grow back. Additionally, you can only undergo these treatments in New York City, which is prohibitive for a lot of people. Still, if you have the time, money, and some flexibility in your schedule, then permanent hair loss can be yours today.
